The Central Crocs are a club that strives to give back to the community. We support three local charities by providing sponsorship and/or services to the charity. Our charity partners are:
Care Cure support has the simple purpose of making a beneficial difference to others. We aim to contribute to a world where Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is no longer 100% terminal by funding research to uncover what causes MND and eventually finding a cure. We also provide funding to improve the care and support for people living with MND and their families through equipment and other grants. Every dollar donated goes directly to the cause with administrative costs of the charity funded by the Whiteman family.
A Stitch in Time is an independent for purpose organisation that aims to prevent suicide and to minimise the devastating impact that poor mental health has on the community. Our services continue to be vital to WA communities as suicide remains the leading cause of death for children aged 5 to 17, and young adults aged 18 to 25. With that, A Stitch in Time was launched in 2014, and we significant increased our reach to all parts of Western Australia. Our hope is to normalise conversations around Mental Health and continuing education around mental health. We hope you can join us as we aim to empower Western Australians to be forces of change in our community, and ultimately create positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
